I believe we are privileged to live the lifestyle we do, and because of that we have a responsibility to those less fortunate. To be able to give something back to people who otherwise would have no access to a wheelchair and a way of life, is very rewarding for me on a personal level. As a relatively new cyclist I think I have a lot to learn from the amazing team that are completing this challenging ride. I think I am going to learn a lot about myself and my limits. Best of all I hope to make life-long friends with the outstanding people on this trip, people who are prepared to make a difference in the lives of others!
